5. Scheduling and Access
Project dates are planned in good faith and may change because of weather, inspections, permits, material availability, site conditions, subcontractor availability, emergencies, or customer changes. Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the work area and timely decisions or selections needed to keep the project moving.
6. Payments and Changes
Deposits, progress payments, final payments, cancellation terms, and payment deadlines are governed by the applicable project agreement and applicable law. Changes to the agreed scope may require a written change order describing the additional or reduced cost and schedule impact before the changed work proceeds.
7. Materials, Finishes, and Substitutions
Product availability can change. When an agreed material or finish becomes unavailable, the parties may approve a reasonably comparable substitute. Product-specific warranties are generally provided by the manufacturer and may be subject to the manufacturer’s own terms.
8. Warranties
Any workmanship or service warranty offered by Home Improve Lab will be stated in the applicable written project documents. Warranty coverage may exclude normal wear, misuse, unauthorized modifications, third-party work, damage caused by events outside reasonable control, or issues covered solely by a manufacturer warranty.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Home Improve Lab will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use or a project, except where such limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in these terms is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
10. Cancellations and Termination
